Colligo SalesThe Colligo rigging/Dux fittings are proving popular with a steady flow of deliveries to us from California.
Take a look at their website and drop me a line if I can price anything up for you. http://www.colligomarine.com/ F-22 at the NationalsThanks to Nigel for bringing his baby down to Plymouth. It took us 3 days to get the F-32 down there - he did it in 3 hours on raceday morning and then launched by himself and was alongside as we were washing up the breakfast things!
Luke and Nigel sailed 2-handed for the series and found things very manageable but still wished for a spinnaker at times. CONGRATULATIONS on winning race #5! New Boat LaunchThe VMG 7 'Pssyche' was launched at the beginning of August. After an 18 month build time, it's still not finished but we wanted to get it afloat for trials this summer. We could have called it Marmite - people either love it or hate it!
The first UK F-22 should grace the waters of the Solent later this Summer.
It is in the final stages of assembly in NZ and be put in its shipping container soon SAILING!Well, there it is, unbelievable!
My whole life just changed, I'm a sailor again. The working week goes much quicker when this is at the end of it Launch day approachingI finally got my jubilee holiday flag pole up!

Team VMG have been appointed as UK agents for the F-22 trimaran. The main mission at the moment is to channel information out to all those sailors that are enquiring and then to help Farrier Marine clear the backlog of orders once production starts. Ian Farrier visitIan and Alicia called in during their UK visit
Ian seemed to approve of my efforts to date I am always a little bit wiser after these visits - he just saved me a lot of effort and money in my mast building TEXELIs it ever calm in Texel?
The fleet took a right battering in the Dutch open, but the boys did well to come out of it 11th. They started the big race well, but pulled out after a damaging capsize VMG F18 Team!Despite sailing on cats since their pre-teens, their outing at the Hobie 16 nationals was the first time that Luke and Adam have sailed together in competition.
They must have felt some potential in their teamwork because they took the plunge - and a Wildcat has arrived in the garden! A bit of tweaking over the winter then roll on spring! Hobie 16 nationalsThe team defended our Hobie 16 national title - good work Adam and Luke
It was a breezy weekend with some really close racing. The VMG crew needed to win the last race to be sure to take the title, they crossed the line first - to silence........ They were OCS! They had to sit and watch the finishers behind them to see how things panned out. But by staying in the top 3 for all the races, they had done enough. RegFest 2010Thanks to Will for the use of the Shockwave.
A great first day - 2nd in the F18s Then Luke's flue kicked back in and shortened the teams weekend ISAF Youth WorldsAdam and Nikki lost the tie break for the bronze medal and finished 4th!
The bigger the event, the more that admin seems to take over from decent sailing. This event was really well run and the sailors had a great time. The sailing was 'Not the best' to put it mildly, going on late in the day to find any sort of breeze with courses very close inshore. Should there be raw sewage bobbing around in the launch area of ANY sailing event? Well done to the team - what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger! Youth National Champions!Well done to Adam and Nikki Boniface for blitzing the fleet at the Volvo RYA Youth nationals.
They have also been selected for the GBR Team for the ISAF youth world championships this summer in Turkey. Time to get your heads back around sailing a SL16 guys Luke and Paul have been racing on Ben's Raider 30 cat in the MOCRA fleet.
They won the winter series |
